Oftentimes, a simple professionally delivered massage therapy session is all you need to heal musculoskeletal issues. At Body of Beverly Hills Wellness, we utilize a combination of massage therapy and hot stone healing therapy to deliver exceptional results for our clients. We frequently use hot stones like jade, amethyst, tourmaline, and more due to their natural healing abilities. Massage therapy is frequently our first line of attack against back pain, joint pain, and other issues that may arise with musculoskeletal pain.
PERSONALIZED EXERCISE PROGRAMS
Sometimes, exercise could be just what you need to relieve pain. And while it may sound counterproductive, science proves that frequent light and low-impact exercise can work wonders for the body, even when experiencing pain or when going through a rehabilitation process. At Body of Beverly Hills Wellness, we work with our clients to design personalized exercise programs completely tailored to the needs of each individual client.
Did you know that Pilates could actually work to heal chronic back and lumbar pain? The body-weight workout frequently referred to for its mind, soul, and body benefits, Pilates is not often referenced for its ability to strengthen the back and lumbar muscles, so that you can regain your mobility and prevent against injury. At Body of Beverly Hills Wellness, we offer regular Pilates training and group sessions for our clients to participate in at their leisure. And in some cases, we may even recommend a Pilates regimen as part of your chiropractic care.
ELECTRICAL MUSCLE STIMULATION
EMS, or Electrical Muscle Stimulation, uses electrical impulses to elicit muscle contractions. This treatment can be used as a form of strength training and is also a great tool for those undergoing physical rehabilitation. For athletes, it has many benefits when used as a post-exercise recovery tool. It is different from TENS, or transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation because EMS stimulates the muscles to contract instead of stimulating the nerves. EMS mimics the action potential signals that come from the central nervous system.
LYMPHATIC COMPRESSION THERAPY
Lymphedema is the condition of protein-rich lymphatic fluid accumulating and swelling in the arms and legs. This swelling occurs when the veins or vessels are so impaired that the lymph fluid cannot be transported back into the bloodstream. When left untreated, the fluid causes the lymph tissue channels to swell and increase in size, which limits the amount of oxygen that is carried to these extremities. The lack of oxygen slows the healing time and increases the risk of infections due to the build-up of bacteria. Lymphedema can be present at birth or develop later on in life, either due to unknown reasons or the result of arterial abnormalities.
The traditional therapy of acupuncture has been practiced for thousands of years and is a key component of Traditional Chinese Medicine. Here at Body of Beverly Hills Wellness, we are big proponents of this traditional therapy because its benefits are so apparent. Although many challenge this view, we’ve had tremendous success in relieving back and lumbar pain through frequent acupuncture treatments. Our team of therapists has been fully trained on the process and has developed a deep understanding of the traditional therapy throughout our time in the industry.

Our ultrasound therapy utilizes acoustic energy to produce a steady, high frequency wave of thermal massage therapy that works to increase blood flow, improve flexibility, and reduce muscle stress. When people think of ultrasound, they often think of pregnancy, but the truth is that ultrasound technology can work wonders in Chiropractic care.
ACUTE CARE/SUB-ACUTE CARE
We offer acute care services to help meet the needs of our clients on a short-term basis. Sometimes, in-house care is only needed for a short period of time, particularly after injury, post-surgery, or during rehabilitation. At Body of Beverly Hills Wellness, we recommend acute care for those patients who have lost most or all mobility after experiencing an injury.
Paraffin wax baths are another form of heat therapy that we specialize in here at Body of Beverly Hills Wellness. We use paraffin wax baths to help relieve pain caused by arthritis, standard joint pain, muscle aches, and much more. Heat therapy helps to ease tension and calm muscle groups and joints, allowing the body to naturally heal itself.

With each visit, our therapists provide strategies and tactics to ensure that our clients are always taking care of their bodies and maintaining their physical fitness as well as they possibly can.
Most frequently, pain management is always on our agenda. In addition, when it comes to our clients, pain is always at the top of their list of symptoms. We work with our clients to identify the source of their pain, and then design a personalized treatment plan to ensure that our treatments adequately and accurately target the source of pain throughout each and every session.
Our well-rounded and extensive offering of services allow us to treat nearly any personal injury related to Chiropractic medicine. Oftentimes, personal injuries come with a range of symptoms that aren’t always physical. And while we will certainly do everything we can to treat your physical symptoms, we do believe that our treatments will help to bring a more positive mindset to each of our clients as they undergo their therapy.
CRANIAL FACIAL RELEASE (CFR)
CFR is an advanced endo-nasal cranial technique that has been used quite successfully in the treatment of various neurological and structural disorders. To understand how CFR works it is essential to understand that the skull is NOT one solid bone. It is made up of 22 individual bones that actually move every time you breathe – or at least they’re supposed to. The objective of CFR technique is to mobilie the bones in the face and cranium and to open up the breathing passageway with the purpose of mobilizing the cranial bones and facilitating normal cranial function.
